Lavender and chamomile are soothing, relaxing scents that are so popular they are used for baby care products. Citronella candles are commonly used for repelling insects outdoors. Mint oil like peppermint or spearmint is thought to have invigorating properties. Scents like jasmine and rose are used to give a feeling of romance.
